Why Come To Florida

Typical Sunrise in RV
Have to remind myself why I'm here and not in the Southwest -- not the chance encounter with some beautiful woman (as my occasional thoughts might allow).  It is the warmth and sunshine and the days of fishing for another meal -- others are here to take advantage of the breezes and wind-surfing in the bay.  The whole section for tents just across the road from my RV has nearly filled up the past two days -- a tent city with Jeeps, pickups, trailers with kayaks and surf boards came to life starting in the middle of this past week.

Can't keep the Groupers (this a Black Grouper) but, they are fun to catch and pretty fish.

As you can tell, Tiger and Molly came for the fish too but, are just a bit more wary of the ones that are still alive.  The Pelicans are usually quite happy with them either way as long as they get a piece or two.

Went to Santiago's Cantina last night instead of going for that Tarpon and even fit into my best pair of slacks that I haven't been able to wear for 5 or 6 years -- light orange short sleeve shirt and sandals (turned out to be overdressed for a Friday night).  Only stayed to watch a couple frog races and returned to the RV to chill out with Tiger and Molly.
