Finding That Perfect Fishing Spot

First, I need to mention that the herd of Mule deer weren't around this morning -- it seems they headed back into the woods during last evening.  However, another little wiry creature came scurrying about our picnic table and our campsite -- a pretty red fox that had Tiger all a twitter as the window was open for full viewing (screen held him back luckily and the fox out).

It's just over the bank
So, after getting the Brown Trout back to the RV and in cold, iced water, I headed back up the road toward Coller State Wildlife Park again because I had seen a turn in I had previously missed on the way upstream yesterday.  As it turns out, this first turn-in has a closer parking area and boat ramp/access as well but, there is an immediate road to the left after making the turn that heads downstream to another parking area next to the Masonic Park property.  This is where I discovered the perfect fishing spot on this section of the river and it is only over the bank from the parking area.  It has boulders and slow moving water with holes and a real mix of fast water too going over submerged boulders.

Perfect Fishing Spot
I fished here for about another 3/4 hour and only caught one small Brown Trout but, I am certain there are more fish to be caught here -- if not this evening, then tomorrow afternoon.  It's only 10 minutes from here and looks very promising -- more than any other spot I've found, so far.

Looking across the river.
