Well, when you're this close to such beautiful animals and wildlife, why waste a day going to the pool (haven't been to the pool in Kingstowne in the 6 or 7 years I lived there either). Did spend some time at the Walmart getting restocked with spring water and some more cat food (two bottles of wine for them too) and a case of Coors Lite for me -- more Trail Mix too.
Lingered a little while after shopping for a breakfast break and then grabbed the camera, bottle of water, nut bar and a chilled Root Beer in a bag of ice as I headed into the Park and the Anhinga Trail again. Only took slightly more than 70 pics today.

Panther Crossing Sign |
As you will see there are still some things I had not taken pictures of before and did try to be more selective as I wound my way around the walkways looking for anything I could have missed before.

Nearly Didn't See Him too |
I even took the Gumbo Limbo Trail afterwards and didn't see much there except the Gumbo Limbo (as seen in the pictures). I did have a wee bit of fear as I walked alone and wondered if the American Panther might be close by and looking for a meal -- old and untasty as I might be.

More Than 30 Picnickers today |
There were at least two or three bus loads of kids tagging about and noisy and rambuncous as might be expected -- didn't scare the gators, just the birds (us old folks couldn't hear them that well either so, they weren't a bother to me).
Jeep is washed and ready to go to the next stop -- after that, I'm not at all sure where there's an opening for us three travellers in an RV and towing the Jeep. Will be calling around to see what might open up and where we will head after Key Largo -- nothing open here at the Goldcoaster for the month of Feb.
