No question in my mind, whether to go again the short distance to Royal Palm and the Anhinga Trail -- it's free for us old codgers and the fruit stand on the way back is just icing on the cake (their stuff is a lot better for you two). I took over a hundred pics yesterday while in the Everglades and the majority of them while taking the Anhinga Trail from the Royal Palm's Visitor Center. Thought you might like to see some more, if not all of them.

I just enjoyed my first Sapodilla and it tasted fantastic -- 2nd one should be ready for tomorrow morning.

He's Watching the Rest of You (just off the path) |
Actually, this last gator was just off the asphalt path beyond the little knee-height railing (no barrier beneath) and there was a Norwegian speaking guy just this side of the rail, stooping down by the rail, with his back to this toothy fella getting his buddy to take a picture of them together -- arms length away.
By the way, the "Picnic Grounds" in pictures above with the railing refers back to a picture in yesterday's posting with the image of all those gators -- it's their picnic grounds.
If you want to see the rest of the pictures, I can provide a slide-show of the whole folder when you come to visit me in my Winnebago. Reserve a spot now!
